Daera (Northern Ireland’s Defra) have a current consultation on future Bovine TB policy. Their preferred badger policy reads “Wildlife intervention would be in the form of a non-selective badger cull using controlled shooting of free roaming badgers, as the predominant badger removal method, delivered and paid for by farmer led companies.”
Daera have clearly been taken in by the supposed ‘success’ of the English badger cull – Good luck to the badger protectors of Northern Ireland!
