Culling badgers is part of the government’s policy to reduce bovine tb in cattle.
A petition aimed to stop badgers being culled onn land surrounding Chatsworth house has attracted over 10,000 signatures.#
The campaign, promoted by Derbyshire Against the Badger Cull and South Yorkshire Against the badger Cull, seeks to persuade the Chatsworth Estate not to allow beef and dairy farmers on their land to join the cull and to promote badger vaccination as an alternative.
